Our Process: A Proven Methodology, Consistently Delivered

Some recruiters try to slow the process while others move too quickly. The result is often a long wait with few results or worse, a body in a cubicle that adds little to your team. Our methods focus on delivering effective and optimum results for clients and candidates. We have one thing in mind, to consistently deliver to you that top 20% of candidates - the kind that make a real impact on your business - that are right for your position and your company.

We accomplish this by performing a sequence of steps, which are customized based on your company's unique hiring needs and problems, in a professional, personal and expeditious manner. And, these steps aren't performed by just any recruiter but by our recruiters, recruiters who are skilled professionals, experts in your industry and schooled in the MRINetwork™Way™.

Although the specific sequence of steps performed for your search will be tailored to meet your needs, below is a summary of the types of activities they are likely to involve:

  1. Needs Analysis
    • Obtain complete details of the open position, develop performance objectives, and identify selling points for attracting candidates from competitors
    • Review and determine interviewing process and responsibilities (interview dates, other interviewers, time between interviews, offer date and start date)
  2. Search Plan Development
    • Create list of target companies and potential candidates
    • Perform database search to identify candidates
    • Identify networking contacts
    • Identify possible recruiting partners from other MRI offices
  3. In-depth Candidate Research, Screening and Interviewing
    • Identify sources
    • Conduct in-depth interviews
    • Develop short list of candidates and present to client
    • Schedule initial interviews
  4. Pre-Interview Briefings
    • Thoroughly brief the candidate to ensure a clear understanding of the position
    • Brief all client interviewers on the candidate's hot buttons to aid in selling the opportunity
  5. Client and Candidate Interview Debriefs
    • Debrief candidate after the interview to determine level of interest, identify open questions, and re-qualify desire to accept the position
    • Debrief interviewers, convey the candidate's feedback, and obtain decision on next steps
    • Arrange additional interviews, if necessary
    • Professionally release any candidates who the client does not wish to pursue
  6. Background Checking
    • At least three references, including at least one former manager
    • A 3rd party background checks and credential verification
    • If desired, we'll request a copy of the candidate's most recent W-2 to verify income claims
  7. Prepare and Extend Offer
    • Consult with client on offer development
    • Verbally present offer to candidate and convey acceptance to client (formal written offer is sent immediately by client company to candidate, with copy to recruiter)
  8. Transition Support
    • Consult with candidate on appropriate steps for resignation and dealing with possible counter-offer
    • Provide sample resignation letter and follow-up immediately after candidate resigns
    • Confirm start date and final acceptance
  9. On-going Follow-up
    • Remain in contact with candidate and client company through start date and initial phases of employment to ensure smooth transition
